For Tina Lancaster, there was never a question about whether she would attend college. With East 德州 State University (now A&移动商务) just down the road from her hometown of Greenville, 德州, it was her first choice for her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Lancaster is passionate about teaching and she strives to be the best instructor on campus for her students. As young girls, she and her sister lived in a rural area with no playmates, so they played what they knew: church and school. Being the oldest, Lancaster was always the teacher. 年后, both sisters entered non-typical careers for women with Lancaster pursuing computer science and the U.S. Air Force, while her sister became an industrial engineer. After working in their respective fields for many years, they are now both teachers.

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&移动商务?
A&移动商务 is definitely one of the friendliest campuses that I've been on. Everyone offers a helping hand and there are so many wonderful resources that will lead to your success.
What draws you to your discipline?
The degree programs in which I teach are for adult learners and are centered around technology, which is my background. I believe in these programs, which are all online, because they offer the opportunity for students to complete their bachelor's degree when it might otherwise not be possible.
What has been your favorite course to teach?
Project management is my favorite course!
Tell us about a project you are currently working on or recently completed.
I recently completed a certification with the Association of College and University Educators. This was totally about becoming a better teacher and it's helped me a great deal.
