The 适应大学生活 presentation focuses on assisting students transitioning to A&移动商务. Whether you are a recent high school graduate, transferring from another college, or returning to school later in life, this presentation will help you identify challenges, utilize coping skills and access helpful resources on campus.

  1. Identify stressors within the transition to college.
  2. Identify applicable campus resources.
  3. Use coping skills to mitigate distress.

The 应对技能 presentation focuses on tools and techniques to handle difficult emotions, decrease stress and maintain a sense of internal balance. We often develop negative coping skills because they work to help us survive. This presentation will help you find healthier ways to cope. This will allow you to rely less on coping in ways that are not good for you while using positive coping skills to manage chronic distress more effectively.

  • Identify negative coping skills and unhealthy thinking habits.
  • Learn healthy coping skills, including mindfulness and other effective techniques to create positive change.
  • Develop an action plan for self-care and a personal toolkit to manage distress, anxiety and difficult emotions.

Our 掌握动机 presentation is a hands-on workshop designed to help you define motivation, explore types of motivation, identify reasons why people tend to lose motivation and push past moments when they're “not feeling it.” This workshop also discusses the power of habits and discipline, and delves into James Clear's best-selling book, “原子的习惯.” You will learn about habit formation, identity’s role in motivation and habit forming, and how to stay on track with goals.

Our 压力管理 presentation focuses on identifying different types of stress and their effects on college students. This presentation will cover strategies to understand and reduce unhealthy levels of stress. You will learn skills to reduce stress, including in-session practice and follow-up information for practicing stress management skills at home.

  • Recognize the impacts of stress.
  • Learn to implement skills and techniques to help reduce and manage stress.

The Suicide Awareness and Intervention presentation seeks to increase your knowledge about suicide statistics, risk and protective factors, warning signs and referral resources. 另外, you will learn to take action by utilizing empathic listening skills, communication skills and the ability to ask individuals if they are thinking about suicide.
